*Job Description:*
- Design architecture/standards/processes for integration that uses
loosely coupled systems and industry standard protocols and messaging
technology. This will include connections to and from the theatre / in-house
systems / external vendor systems.
- Design architecture/standards/processes for business process management
(BPM), business activity monitoring (BAM), and workflow systems.
- This position will be responsible for the architecture, design and
management of the Enterprise Portal platform. Includes the design and
development of common platform architecture standards around Portal, Search
and Content Management.

- Experience and working knowledge of industry “best practices" related
to EAI, portal delivery, SOA, messaging, BPM, BAM, workflow, and enterprise
content management, enterprise search, etc.
- Relentlessly seeks to understand technology product & service offerings
by vendors providing products and services in the EAI and portal delivery,
particularly applicable to near real-time data warehousing and business
process management / workflow.
- Quickly understands the overall business strategy, to analyze the
business processes, and to develop technical solutions to support the
business strategy.
- Stays abreast of emerging technologies, practices, architectures, etc.
in order to understand their potential as future enabling technologies for
business solutions.
- Assesses current technical architecture; estimate system capacity for
near- and long-term processing requirements
Leads post implementation continuous improvement efforts in enhancing
performance and providing increased functionality
- Codes, tests, and implements complex programs; develop appropriate
programs and system documentation according to established IT standards
- Supports and troubleshoots production systems as required, optimizing
performance, resolving production problems, and providing timely follow-up
on problem reports
- Creates project schedules in Microsoft Project as well as keep status
up to date in a Portfolio Management system. Gains consensus from the team
on estimates and timelines. Gains approval and revises these plans as
appropriate to meet changing user needs and requirements.
- Takes established projects and drives them to completion, on time and
on budget meeting the customer’s expectations and objectives.
- Experience and knowledge of Relational Databases such as SQL Server,
DB2 and Oracle.
- Experience with administration of distributed messaging applications.
- Successfully architects & designs mid to complex messaging & brokering
solutions.
- EAI Systems: theory, architecture, design, services, configuration,
operation, security and tools
- Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 (schemas, mappings, messages, pipeline
components, adapters orchestrations, business activity monitoring, health
and activity tracking, business rules / process management, trading partners
etc) and associated products.
*Portal Systems*: theory, architecture, design, services, configuration,
operation, security and tools
Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server (2003) / Windows SharePoint services
(2003) / MOSS (Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007)
