They are looking for a consultant to provide business and technical analysis. The person in this role will play a lead role in managing their trading and electronic connectivity initiatives. The projects will focus on upgrade and maintenance of both in house developed and off the shelf/vendor applications and connectivity enhancement initiatives. The connectivity and applications provide linkage between the equity trading desk/brokers, exchanges and ECN’s (electronic communication networks). This linkage leverages the FIX protocol. The consultant is going to need to bring experience in trading systems, FIX protocol and connectivity enhancements. The role will entail gathering requirements, system specifications and creating project documentation. Industry best practices will need to be accounted for when providing solutions.
