Position: *Oracle PFT Business Analyst* Location: Atlanta, GA Billrate: *$D O E. // H1b’s OK //* Duration: 12 months Client: * *(one of our best repeat clients) The following position is budgeted/approved. Make sure you get the Right to Represent for each candidate in case of conflicts. * * *Functional part - will be defining business rules and implementing PFT (Oracle’s Profitability Manager module)* 2/16/11 = We need a techno/functional person…I just don’t want to lean too far to the apps side. We just need a good techno/functional Business Analyst….they are out there. Should have BA skills – Requirements solicitation/definition/testing/implementation/support background. Good communications skills. Should have Oracle tech skills – SQL / PL SQL … some application background is nice to have. Some Oracle apps background is good but not a necessity…a good BA will be able to pick this up quickly….if you can navigate in one app you can navigate in all of them. While I do think it is really good for us to know the application infrastructure really well from a requirements standpoint, the Development team has to take the lead on implementing an application changes (outside of business configurable changes). I think there are BA’s out there with some Oracle apps installation/configuration backgrounds who would know enough about the infrastructure to assist in any business configuration changes. VERY IMPORTANT: (need to qualify that candidates have both of this): We need someone who *can support both Oracle and custom environments…PFT is the only Oracle app we support here…the rest is custom apps.* *PFT is Oracle’s Profitability Manager module* * * *NOTE:** Candidates may push back on rate but you need to INFORM them that we are still in a soft economy and we can most likely adjust rate in 6 months from now.
