Duration: 10+ months Job Summary The Business Intelligence Project Manager will be working with the Decision Support Systems team to maintain and develop reporting solutions for the Marketing line of business. This will entail developing custom reports and dashboards, ensuring the current solution is maintained accordingly and enhancing this to meet the business needs. The reporting solutions will be Oracle OBIEE based, using SQL back-end data warehouses/databases & queries for data management / manipulation. This role will work heavily with the Marketing Operations organization on global reporting projects and ensuring global consistency with report and business information definition. Predominant reporting requirements are transactional based, reporting on Waterfall KPIs, Campaigns, Leads, revenues and bookings. Responsibilities . With guidance from the DSS PMO, the PM will work with the project team to plan and execute Marketing BI committed deliverables . Act as the primary contact for Marketing BI program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance . Baseline work includes scope mgmt, status reporting, project plan development, release planning, communication and resource mgmt . Provide coordination support for SDLC phases including functional design, development, user acceptance testing . Work with the production support team to ensure fixes are coordinated with project development activities . Proactively manage risks with the project team and coordinate solution options for issues . Adhere to the IT SDLC and ensure the marketing business follows required processes and standards . Drive the change management process as part of scope management . Provide support to the development team for issue escalations, potential schedule impacts, resource changes . Manage and report on budget plan vs. actual and report to DSS PMO . Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules Requirements The ideal candidate should have: . Must of minimum 3-5 years of project management experience within a highly dynamic corporate environment with IT . Must have solid working experience with marketing or sales operations - Campaigns, leads, opportunities, waterfall KPIs. . Must have solid understanding and working experience with the SDLC and waterfall methodology . Must have working experience on Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence concepts and framework . Oracle EDW, ETL, and OBIEE reporting platform working knowledge highly desired . Ideally this individual will have an IT and/or business background, previous experience in marketing/sales highly desired . Attention to detail and strong personal organizational skills and able to work in fast, paced, high volume environment . Experience working in an onshore - offshore model with teams from different time zones and cultures . Ability to handle moderately complex projects involving integration with several systems . Able to manage matrix teams of business analysts, developers, leads . Experience in partnering with large systems implementers like Deloitte, Accenture etc . Experience in working with global teams across time zones . Well versed with PowerPoint/Excel and Dashboard Reports . Solid communication skills, IT and business orientated . Ability to work, collaborate and lead a team to support deadlines . This individual will apply the experiences in solving problems that are unique and extremely complex given the time, budget and time constraints . Knowledge of SQL and OBIEE & Oracle Answers is a plus . Knowledge of Oracle EBS and/or SalesForce.Com is a plus . Knowledge of Eloqua is a plus Education and Experience . A minimum of 5 years of project management experience including 3 years of data warehouse and BI experience in a large scale enterprise data warehouse environment .
