SOA, Integration & BPM Center of Excellence supports enterprise application integration, EDI, and Business Process Management (BPM). The team provides BPM and application integration support, maintenance, enhancement, and new development services to support the integration needs of PG&E's mission critical systems, including: CC&B, SAP, OIS, etc. These services are provided in partnership with other IT application teams (i.e., Database Team, BEA Operations, SAP, etc.). * We provide standard guidance, best practices, development standards, and subject matter expertise to facilitate the discovery, design, and implementation of re-usable assets such as service-based interfaces and standardized integration frameworks. These standards promote agile development and standardize deployment configurations to ensure that the maintenance and running of applications are simplified and manageable. * We Design, Develop, and Implement SOA, Middleware and BPM solutions (e.g. Mercator, SeeBeyond, GXS support, Enterprise Service Bus, ORACLE 10gR3 Integration, ORACLE 10gR3c Server and Aqualogic Business Process Management) Position Summary We are currently seeking a J2EE / ORACLE 10gR3 Integration Developer for a contracted period of 6 months. The developer will work with the ISTS/Application Services SOA Integration Development and Implementation team and its business partners. S/he will use expertise in J2EE / ORACLE 10gR3 platform to build the foundation frameworks and design patterns for interfaces between SAP, CBM and other interfacing applications. The developer will be responsible to lead end-to-end integration application development, starting with the design phase. Qualifications Required: 1. Very Strong INTEGRATION experience - must have built interfaces/services 2. Working knowledge of ORACLE 10gR3 - must have developed at least one service in production. 3. Must have Working Knowledge and/or advanced level knowledge of J2EE; EJB3; Eclipse 3; JMS 4. Have designed or contributed to the design (functional) of interfaces/services connecting at least two end systems. 5. Business Partners interfacing - will have to attend meetings and answer design questions from the business partners. 6. Ability to mentor and answer integration and design questions from developers and technical leads. 7. Ability to consult re "best industry standards" regarding integration, open standards, etc. 8. Senior level knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle. 9. Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills with demonstrated ability to analyze technical information and work with a team spirit. 10. Self-motivated with strong communication and written skills. 11. Have developed on BEA WLI and ORACLE jDeveloper 12. ANT Scripting, ANT Source Control (ClearCase, PVCS or similar tools) Desired: 13. Excellent Knowledge of applications/systems integration Working knowledge of UC4, XML, XML Schema, 14. Knowledge of communication protocols such as FTP, SCP and VPN 15. Knowledge of encryption/decryption of PGP. Java, Unix shell scripting, XML 16. B.S./B.A./M.S. in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering or 10+ years of relevant work experience. 17. Need to have the ability to multi-task, and to be an excellent team member with strong inter-personal and communication skills. 18. Demonstrated ability to delivery software projects of high complexity and risk 19. Substantial experience and expertise in development systems with Oracle products. 20. Create design, architecture, High Level/Low level documents 21. JAVA 6, JAX-B, JAX-WS, EJB 3.0, JMS, Eclipse 3.x, 22. Expert in CommonJ, Java Mail, Log4J, ALSB, Xquery 23.
