*SAP Architect needed for 10 month plus contract for client in Washington, DC. Green Card Holder and US Citizens only. Phone Screen followed by In person Inteview. * * * Client is in the process of improving its financial performance to serve citizens, business partners, and employees more efficiently and effectively. Through the Financial Management Modernization Initiative (FMMI), Client is replacing legacy mainframe systems with an advanced, Web-based core financial management system that complies with Federal accounting and systems standards. * * In support of this initiative, Client is implementing the SAP ERP suite of applications, including SAP ECC 6.0, SAP Enterprise Portal 7.0, SAP Business Intelligence (BI) 7.0 and SAP Process Integration (PI) 7.1. SAP modules include Financials (FI), Controlling (CO), Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), Funds Management (FM), and Project Systems (PS). * * The D3 Integration Architect will participate in the build and test of the Integration Architecture to support new interfaces added during FMMI Deployment 3. The Integration Architecture is built on the SAP Process Integration (PI) module. Specifically, the D3 Integration Architect will be responsible for the following activities: * * X Work closely with functional team to understand business requirements X Work closely with application developers or business partners to ensure end-to-end scenario delivery X Participate in assessments of candidate systems identified for D3 X Contribute to interface functional and technical design efforts X Build integration architecture components to support interfaces.
