At least three successful years at a large financial institution doing similar work in fixed income cash or any type of derivatives and have developed areas of significant technical and/or financial expertise. (or worked in a medium size organization like insurance, automobile). . Familiar with the Intex C APIs, Electronic Pool Notification and have experience in TCP/IP programming, a plus! Exposure to trade capture, factors/rates, pricing, have facility with a variety of financial instruments, a Big plus! REQUIRED: 5+ Years of Application Development work experience 5+ Years of design, coding, testing and debugging skills (Sunstudio on Unix/C) 5+ Years experience in a client server environment 4+ Years of 'C' on Unix Environment 3+ Years of Sybase Development or SQL programming) 2+ Years of UNIX Shell Scripting Development 1+ Years of TCP/IP Programming Knowledge of version and revision control practices and procedures Background in systems project life cycle with emphasis on C, Sybase, Unix, performance tuning or similar knowledge required. Experience with data management, relational, or object-oriented systems Good Communication skills (written and oral) is MUST.
