Title: Jr Oracle DBA Duration: 6 Months Location: St Louis, MO Rate: $40/hr ctc all Inc *Exempt Status: ** *Non-Exempt *Assignment Description: * Requirements: 1) Install, Configure ,create, maintain and patch 9i,10g,11g Oracle databases and ASM (Automatic Storage Management) on Windows and Unix Operating System. 2) Experience in Backup, Recovery and Cloning etc using RMAN (Recovery Manager),Data Pump. 3) Very good knowledge of Oracle 9i, 10g, SQL, PLSQL. 4) Experience with database/instance tuning using Grid Control, SQL tracing, TKPROF,AWR and SQL statements tuning. 5) Investigate potential problems and issues raised by users etc, this includes being on on-call rotation and carrying a pager as needed. 6) Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines.
