Montvale, NJ Duration: 6 months+ We are looking for a blended resource to assist in the management and documentation of ongoing projects. The resource must have a background as a BA/PM with SharePoint configuration skills. They should have strong analytical skills, a strong team focused work ethic, and be self motivated. The position is: - 60% Business Analyst, - 20% Project Management, - 20% SharePoint configuration (Create webpart pages, set permissions). Business Analyst Functions - Interface with technical and business resources to capture information - Author documentation including business/functional requirements and user guides - Assist in the collection of requirements and business functionality - Build Visio diagrams as needed Project Management Functions: - Act as the technical liaison between the Project Manager and the technical resources - Interface with project track leads to gather progress reports - Assist the Senior Project Manager on several projects - Monitor project deliverables and milestones - Maintain project plans using MS Project - Assist with capacity planning across projects Technical Resource Functions: - Communicate with technical resources on data driven SharePoint web applications - Configure basic SharePoint WebPart attributes and webpart page construction as needed - Communicate with technical resources in the resolution of performance and functional issues - Set user permissions and groups Skills: Requirements: - 5-7 yrs experience with SDLC and strong analysis skills - Understanding of IT control environments and how they impact business requirements and development activities - Ability to handle short deadlines, fast turnaround times - Ability to interact with personnel at all levels - Must be organized and detail oriented - Basic understanding of core database and web language principles including SQL, HTML, AJAX and XML - Must have strong understanding of SharePoint and Office technologies including metadata principles - Strongly preferred experience in supporting successful application deployment through formal QA procedures - Strong writing skills - Must be adaptable with ability to shift focus rapidly. *Kevin Swarky* Swarky Solutions -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "KNOW.IT" group.
