Ability to understand schemas and write basic queries using SQL. § Advanced user of MS Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required. § BS/BA or equivalent work experience. § Good written & communication skills are mandatory. § Experience working in a team environment. § Honest, open, passionate, positive “can-do” attitude, self-sufficient, organized. § Ability to rapidly absorb new concepts – either technological, or industry related. § Ability to establish external/internal resources to aid the team in reaching its goals. Desired Qualities: § Experience working with financial markets or with financial market data. HIGHLY PREFERRED (i.e. knowledge of stocks, bonds, etc) § Experience working in the financial information industry, in particular conducting QA testing on financial information industry software is a plus. § Familiarity with financial information industry software. § Advanced user of Automated Testing Tools (e.g. QTP, SilkPerformer, SilkTest) and or Formal training in an automated testing tool is a plus.
