Position: WEB GUI Developer Consultant Location: Fremont, CA Duration: 6 Months with possibility of Extension Rate: Best $/Hr All Inclusive Start Date: ASAP Positions: One Responsible duties: § Web UI development including dynamic web applications using HTML , object-oriented JavaScript, CSS, AJAX and Java § Design and implement highly efficient, light weight and re-usable UI components, § Directly interfacing with customers for requirements definition and development of Web based applications across different customer platforms § The candidate will work with minimal supervision on analysis tasks and with little or no supervision on development related tasks § Performs product component design, develop, and maintain software modules in a given customer project and participates actively throughout the product life cycle § Collaborates within remote teams and customers § Uses professional concepts and comes up with innovative techniques to solve a wide range of difficult problems § Must be able to grasp new technologies quickly and have ability to switch quickly between different technology areas § A high energy level, the ability to set and achieve individual goals, and great interpersonal and communication skills are essential § The ideal candidate will participate and lead the decision making on the design and implementation of solutions that employ leading-edge technologies Minimum Qualifications § BA/BS in Computer Science, EE or equivalent experience § 5+ years of experience in Web applications development, Web 2.0 and similar § 5+ years experience building JavaScript/CSS/ § 3+ years experience in C/C++ programming § Back-end development is a plus but it is primarily a front-end development role · Qualifications required § Excellent written and oral communication skills § AJAX, Javascript, DOM, HTML/DHTML, CSS, XML/XSLT in both Windows and Linux Environments § Knowledge of the Dojo toolkit § Knowledge of network-based Server Management protocols such as SNMP, SMASH WS-MAN § SubVersion Source Control § Web server setup and administration basics (i.e. Apache, appweb) § Basic knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems § Ability to work independently in self-directing team · Other desired skills § Server programming (CGI) in Java, JSP, Servlet, C/C ++, ISAPI, COM/DCOM § Network programming (TCP/IP) in Java, C/C++, (SMTP, SNMP, HTTP, FTP) § GUI development expertise in standalone applications, solid knowledge of applications utilizing Java and Swing § Flash, Flex, Silverlight § Perl, UNIX shell scripting Kindly go through the position details and let me know if you have any consultants matching the skill set or would really appreciate if you can refer me someone with this skill set.
