* * *Position Title: .Net Developer* *Location: Radnor, PA* *Duration: 3-6 months to start.* *SR .NET DEVELOPER* * * *REQUIRED RESPONSIBILITIES:* - Be responsible for developing and maintaining high performing applications for TV and Entertainment guidance solutions. - Work closely with business analysts and users to make sure that requirements and functional design specifications are accurate and well understood. - Work closely with architects to design, develop and maintain robust, secure, scalable, high-availability and high-performance solutions. - Develop detailed design specifications, unit test plans, and high-quality code. - Work with a team of talented software engineers through the entire development cycle, from design through deployment. - Work with the development team, QA team, and the rest of the Engineering group to define, build, and evolve into a world-class software development organization. - Provide on-going product maintenance and enhancements to production applications. - Proactively identify opportunities for improvement. *REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:* - The successful candidate will possess the following required qualifications: - Expert-level experience implementing .NET-based Windows Forms and/or Web Forms applications. Specifically this will require strong knowledge of: - .NET Framework versions 2.0 and forward - C# - Visual Studio 2005/2008 - Object oriented design concepts, techniques and patterns - XML/XSL/XSLT - Expert-level development experience with SQL Server 2005. Specifically this will require strong knowledge of: - T-SQL - Data modeling and table design - Creation of stored procedures, views, functions and other database objects - Creation of SQL scripts, and DTS/SSIS packages - A proven track record of developing high-volume database application software, from initial requirements definition into production.
