Position Title: *Web Developer* Location: Yardley, PA Duration: 6+ months Under direction, The Web Developer performs a wide range of application development related duties including analysis, design, evaluation, development, coding, testing and maintenance of complex application systems. This person will be responsible for development of applications using existing and emerging technology platforms. *Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:* * Performs software investigation, analysis and evaluation to determine solution feasibility. * Advises the development manager /architect on the implications of existing business systems that can be applied to the problem. * Participate in design presentation meetings for new features under development * Implement coding solutions to meet requirements * Ensure that coding solutions use resources efficiently and are scalable * Perform unit testing * Coordinate with QA on testing of releases * Investigate and resolve QA (internal) and customer facing (external) issues logged against coding solutions * Generate assessment of problem resolution, including workarounds, scope, risks and impacts * Participates in business analysis, systems analysis and systems design. * Makes use of application development standards for designing, building and maintaining applications, applications components, and common services including the use of standard languages and tools. * Applies software engineering methods/practices. * Participates in architecture and design reviews. * Provide status of projects to management. * Works closely with Product Test Group during the testing and support phase. * Works closely with other developers on the development and on other teams. *Experience/Skills:* * Proficiency with Microsoft ASP.NET (v4.0), C# and the .NET Framework * Proficiency with one or more of the following technologies: jQuery, JavaScript, LINQ, Entity Framework * Strong client-side skills using HTML / HTML5 / CSS * Advanced skills in software development and the development/testing of web pages and distributed client -server applications. Knowledge of MVC 2.0/3.0, Web Services and/or Windows Communication Foundation would be a plus. * Experience with database development (SQL, stored procedures, triggers) for SQL Server 2008.
