We are need of *System Application Engineer *for 6 Months contract, with our DIRECT CLIENT. Please review the requirement below, If you are comfortable and available shoot your updated resume with below information. *System Application Engineer* *Location: Irvine, CA* *Duration: 6 Months* *Job Description:* Application development Technical lead/Technical manager profile. Any domain is fine. IFE is desirable but not a must. Some exposure or appreciation or experience in HW & SW combination projects or systems like IFE. Not just pure IT applications; One or two development experience covering complete project life cycle and executed on Linux platform. Linux aware engineer. Not just Windows. Some PM Experience is desirable. Good interpersonal skills, Customer interaction, application requirements gathering skills are must. 1. Leads all the activities related to definition, design, documentation, and support required to ship high quality applications to airline customers throughout the development cycle: · Analyzes requirements coming from the aircraft manufacture/customer. · Defines and Designs the applications architecture and data flow throughout all aspects of the system. · Develops requirement documentation and coordinates technical / peer reviews. · Monitors implementation activity in coordination with the software department and / or subcontractors. · Establishes development schedule & budget and oversees the development cycle from kick-off to generic release. · Monitoring development & implementation activity in coordination with the software department and / or subcontractors ensuring development is on schedule and per budget. · Development of SOW for 3rd Party Contractors. · Applications systems design. This includes system-level requirements definition, system architecture analysis through modeling and simulation and the generation of respective documentation in coordination with the Applications Program Manager or the Product Policy Manager. · Systems integration and system verification, troubleshooting & test. This includes the coordination of system level test plans for sub-system and system-level integration testing, perform the duties of a director of system-level testing, and oversee the generation of the system test report. 2. Is responsible for planning, coordination and organization of each phase of the project from kick-off to completion; utilizes schedules to organize and understand project tasks and manages the tasks throughout the system design, development and verification phases taking responsibility for providing direction to the team and having accountability for schedule and budgets. 3. Holds accountability for budgetary status of program against plan and future work load; EACs & ETCs. 4. Identifies and resolves potential problems before they occur therefore minimizing the impact to schedule and cost. Raises issues to management in timely manner and makes recommendations towards resolution. 5. Manages, documents, and ensures product compliance with customer requirements 6. Generates documentation for each respective phase. The definition phase includes the following documentation: Systems Requirements Specification, System Design Documentation, Interface Control Documentation, Modeling and Simulation Documentation. 7. Exercises a very high level of initiative and independent judgment in coordinating the work of peer personnel within the group and external groups as well. 8. Proposes process changes to improve the efficiency and quality of work. Takes on independent projects to help improve team / process efficiency and quality. 9.
