*Job Description as below
• Be able to understand, interpret and automate the existing manual
BPT components by working closely with the Functional Test Lead and Test
Analysts. Help with
Automation Test effort Estimations for all releases.
• Candidate should have advanced QTP Scripting skills including
Function Library development, Descriptive Programming and Registered User
Functions.
• Be able to Ramp-Up and lead team of 4 to 5 automation engineers
offshore and help create and maintain an automated regression suite of
various releases of multiple
applications under Test simulataneously
• Good written and oral communication skills, highly motivated with
the ability to quickly learn and adapt to client methodologies. Ability to
work with ATC and App Dev
technical leaders in constructing an automation plan utilizing
their insight and experience in defining tasks and scheduling. Strong
analytical skills with an attention to
detail, Self-starter
• At least 4 + years of experience in Automation Test Lead role and
working with QAteams, 5 + years of experience with HP Quality Center and
QTP, Experience with BPT is
mandatory
• Solid knowledge of QTP scripting in expert view. Solid knowledge
of VB, scripting and debugging and Script driven programming
• Help define and create complex, reusable test data sets
• Experience in web based testing in a mainframe (MVS), Java/Oracle
environment, Experience in SQL scripting with Oracle/SQL Server backend
• Education – BS in computer science, Engineering, information
systems
