Datacenter Engineer
Cincinnati – OH
12 Months (Pure Contract)
Interview : Telephonic and Immediate Joining is must
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Support for the Datacenter IT equipment at the customer
datacenter.
· On call support required 24/7 for critical activity handling in
the datacenter.
· Coordinate with datacenter vendors for cabling, link extension
within the datacenter for new
circuits and existing circuits.
· Ensure backup tape movement offsite and tape inventory management.
· Installation of new network, server and voice infrastructure in
the
· datacenter limited to basic setup, rack mounting and cabling.
· Coordinate with remote technical team for troubleshooting
datacenter
· hosted device issues Participate in project turn ups for
datacenter activities.
· Ensure cabling and labeling standards are maintained for the racks
and
· devices in the datacenter Upkeep the inventory of devices and
· materials in the datacenter and datacenter stores
Skills:
· Data Network L2 skills - switching
· Server hardware and basic administration knowledge Good written
and
· verbal communication skills
