Job Title: Performance Lead Engineer Location: Omaha,NE Duration:6+ Months contract with extensions This role must be able to identify when clients are requesting performance testing that is in conflict with their stated goals, and must be able to debate and convince them as to the correct action to take without alienating the client. Technical working knowledge of JAVA, EBJ, Databases and Web Services Duties Working with the Manager, Architects, and other EL’s to refine the PEG process model and keep it current. Presenting and selling PEG services to other Technical Organizations (PEG clients). Managing the on-boarding of new clients Provide business analysis required to formulate performance requirements Design and Author test plans Working with clients to establish engagement objectives and scope Constructing project plans to meet engagement objectives, and managing service delivery throughout the lifetime of the engagement. Identifying resources needed to deliver each engagement Interfacing with the Manager role to obtain and schedule all resources. Working with Performance Engineers to design performance tests that will meet the engagement objectives Working with Performance Engineers when authoring written test plans and results documents. Leading meetings during discovery, client review of test plans, and client review of final results. Responsible for ensuring the quality of all artifacts delivered to the client. Ultimately responsible for the client obtaining value from engaging the Performance Engineering service.
