Business Intelligence Developer 

 

We are looking for a Business Intelligence developer to assist in the design, 
development and maintenance of BI and other Data Warehousing solutions for our 
client' Advertising Sales group. 

 

The incumbent should have a thorough, comprehensive understanding of BI 
technology and concepts. He/She should also have excellent communication skills 
and should possess the aptitude and attitude to discern business strategies, 
tactics and needs. 

 

Primary Responsibilities 

 

           Warehouse based solutionsDesign, develop and maintain BI and Data

           and documenting requirementsWork with business customers in 
gathering

          Work individually or as part of a team

          Ensure quality of work at all times

 

Required Skills/Experience

 

          6 plus years of experience in developing IT applications

          3 or more years of experience with SQL Server Analysis Services 
(2005 and above), SQL Server Integration Services(SSIS) and SQL Server 
Reporting Services

           of performance tuning ofExperience working with BIDS and knowledge 
SSAS cubes

          4 plus years of experience with relational database management 
systems - preferably SQL Server or Oracle

          Very Strong Data Modeling Skills 

           to create complex calculationsKnowledge of MDX statements and 
functions

           written)Good communication skills (oral and

           documenting business requirements2 or more years of experience 
gathering and

           applications, user interface design andPrior experience in 
architecting detailed system design

           processes associated with SQLKnowledge of administration procedures 
and Server Analysis Services

 

Desired Skills/Experience

 

•           Media Industry experience (highly desirable)

•           VB.NET Programming Skills

•           Strong OOAD skills
