Req Details:
Platform.
-Ability to analyze issues, work with matrix partners to determine root
cause and implement solutions.
-Ability to coordinate with internal and external resources as necessary to
isolate and troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues.
-Work with application programmers, architects and business and quality
analysts to understand the business, technical and infrastructure needs.
-Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and recommends the most
efficient and cost effective application programming
-Code new or modified programs, reuse existing code through the use of
program development software alternatives and/or integrates purchased
solutions.
Documents, tests, implements and provides on-going support for the
applications.
-Ability to work across multiple applications and allocate time
appropriately to meet assigned deadlines.
-Effective communication and collaboration abilities in a highly matrixed
environment.
Skills:
-Strong experience with JAVA/J2EE required -Experience in XML and XML
technologies (JAXB, schema design, etc.)
-Experience in one or more of the following: Spring, Drools, Web
Services/SOA- preferred
-Experience with Object Relational Mapping frameworks (ORM) such as
Hibernate, iBATIS, JPA
-Technical background in UNIX client/server platform, WebSphere,
Oracle -Strong analytical and problem solving skills
-Flexible, ability to deal with change -Learning agility, able to learn
quickly and apply concepts to development
-Strong team player
-Strong communication skills
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
strongly preferred
-5+ years of solid, diverse work experience in IT
