Skype Webcam Intereview after Telephonic ID Check Mandatory *Description:* Websphere Portal Developer Support - The candidate must have a Strong J2EE foundationwith WebSphere Portal development and/or admin experience. The candidate must have 2+ years using specific IBM WebSphere products and related development tools (i.e. Rational Application Developer), and 2 or more years experience in a large enterprise environment using different computing platforms with proven experience in systems/component analysis, design, development, implementation, and maintenance on various environments, including multi-tier applications. Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and communication (oral and written) skills are required for interaction with all levels of management. Main Responsibilites: - Act as subject matter expert in IBM WebSphere Portal and assisting other Portal developers in the correct use of Websphere Portal Technology - Performing code and design reviews - Troubleshooting developer issues and helping to enable Websphere Portal Technology within the enterprise. - Develop proof of concept, prototypes, and overall system architecture as needed to effectively support Portal Developers across the enterprise. - Develop guidance and best practices for creation and management of re-usable solution assets software, architecture, and methodology - Facilitate development of relationships with key business partners *Required Skills:* - 3 or more years of experience in J2EE web development (Java, JSP, Servlet, JavaBean) - 2 or more years with J2EE based application server - Experience with WebSphere portal architecture and integration of web portals with existing applications. This includes experience with deployment and migration strategies, site topology, and ortlet development - Portlet development using JSR 168 & 286 is required - Experience developing and deploying portlets for WebSphere Portal Server (WPS) - Knowledge of XML Access is required - Knowledge of Portlet Factory is a plus - Strong systems, problem solving and analytical skills; excellent verbal & written communication skills - Highly effective time management and organizational skills - Independence with assignments - Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment - Customer service orientation -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "KNOW.IT" group.
