Location – NYC Duration – 9 months * *CORE JAVA (not J2EE at all), real-time systems, multi threading, Unix. Min. 1 yr. swing and socket level. *Scope of position:* The Java SE Developer will play an integral role in the production of the Smart Order Routing and Internal Crossing capability within the core platform, a highly flexible, low latency trading platform. *Responsibilities will include:* The implementation of core Java code, integration and optimization of field developed custom code, bug fixing for existing features and identifying performance bottlenecks. The implementation of unit tests and automated functional tests to improve quality and coverage. The developer will work closely with staff in other groups to assist in the creation of specifications, test plans, and documentation. *Main responsibilities:* Reviewing Specifications Designing and Implementing core Java code and algorithms Designing and Implementing Automated Tests Analysis Resolution of Bugs *Required skills:* 1. Financial Market Experience 2. core Java SE development experience 3.
