    One of my client is looking for Tivoli Subject Matter Expert. Here
is the requirement.

Position        : Subject Matter Expert
Duration       : 6 months
Location       : Jersey City, NJ

Job Description:

The EMS BSM SME will be accomplished in a variety of enterprise
monitoring and management technologies. He or she will provide day-to-
day support of the IBM ITM and Netcool products, including OMNIbus,
Impact, TBSM 4.2.1, and ITNM IP. Perform basic customization and
implementations with any of the tool suites. Provide assistance to
Command Center and other customers with the use of the tools. Design
and deelop custom dashboards and reports using a variety of tools,
including SharePoint 2010, Cognos, MS SQL Reporting Services, etc.
Alternate with other team members in off-hours on-call rotations,
support the EMS internal website, as well as Tivoli tools and
processes.
Key Skill Requirements:
Expert in TBSM 4.2.1, Impact 5.1.1 and Webtop TIP 2.2.0.82. ITNM IP is
a plus.
Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Network and Systems Monitoring and
Management tools, implementation, advanced configuration, management,
and administration
Familiarity with LAN/MAN/WAN technologies
Solid working knowledge of HTML, xHTML, SQL, XML, and website
development. SharePoint, MS Visual Studio and CSS a plus, ,
Experience obtaining requirements from both business and technology
groups, and presenting both monitoring and business data in combined
dashboards and scorecards from a Business Intelligence (BI)
perspective
Solid working knowledge of both Windows and Unix Operating Systems,
file and directory structures, commands, command-line interfaces and
utilities
Solid Unix shell and/or Perl scripting and Windows bat file skills
Solid understanding of SNMP, in both the Unix and Windows
environments
Innovative analytical thinker, applies technical knowledge/creativity
to deliver best possible results, not merely satisfactory results
Understanding of computer resource utilization and measurement
Very strong troubleshooter
Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, to facilitate
interactions with business customers and members of other T2 teams
Supporting both project teams and internal customers
Analyze and transform operational and/or functional needs into
solutions while remaining compliant with regulations, policies and
procedures document description of system parameters and integrate
those parameters to optimize the overall solutions effectiveness and
efficiency at task
Perform mentoring and training tasks for peers and customers as
required transfer project knowledge to other team members and
customers as required
Perform risk identification, assessment, remediation, and planning for
all aspects of performance
4+ years of experience designing, maintaining and operating within a
fast-paced, multi-site, heterogeneous network environment
3+ years of experience as a network engineer / network management
engineer
Educational Requirements:
Four year college degree a plus.
