*Title               : Windows System Admin - Infrastructure Lead*

*Location         : Stamford, CT*

*Responsibilities / Skills *



·         Responsible for Group Policy, DHCP and DNS/WINS Administration

·         Support Domestic and International Business IT leads with all
project related Directory Services requirements.

·         Troubleshooting of Active Directory related issues which include
logon failures, account lockouts, network connectivity, DNS/WINS name
resolution, authentication problems, and FRS/DFS replication issues.

·         Assist in the definition of Directory Services technical standards
with considerations for throughput, redundancy and load balancing where
applicable.

·         Ensure backups and recovery of Microsoft Infrastructure is in
place and current.

·         Ensure the Purdue Directory Services Infrastructure is following
Microsoft Best Practices.

·         Recommend proactive Active Directory solutions to
developers/technicians and management on Active Directory technical issues.


·         Ability to foster climate of continuous improvement for all
Microsoft Directory Services solutions.



*PLUS / Other Skills*



·         BlueCat DNS skills a plus.

·         Quest Active Directory auditor and Recovery Manager skills a plus.


·         VB and PowerShell scripting a plus.

·         Working knowledge of DC’s on Window’s Server 2008 a plus.

·         Thorough understanding of LDAP and Active Directory Federated
Services a plus.

·         Microsoft Directory Services Administrator  – MCSE and MCITP
preferred
