. BIA and BO experience
7+ years working BASIS administration experience. Must have working
knowledge of database configuration, performance tuning, high availability
and load balancing with SAP environment.
Additional Skills: Required Skills
o Strong SAP BW Basis with BIA and Portal experience
o Working knowledge of Business Objects Enterprise and BO Explorer
experience
o Good Oracle database knowledge
o Core Unix experience
Key Success Characteristics
o Excellent analytical and problem solving skills - ability to quickly
assess and resolve SAP issues
o Strong communication skills with focus on coordinating and updating
stakeholders
Position Description
o Primary responsibility to carry out all Basis related tasks for project
implementation.
o Monitors infrastructure performance to detect errors; apply testing
procedures/methodologies (e.g., diagnostic software) and provide
recommendations for solution.
o Knowledge on high availability and load balancing
o Understand and implemented SSO solution on SAP systems
o Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and resolves complex system issues
o Manages installation and maintenance (support pack, hot pack, system
refresh, system modification etc.), and other software components related to
project activities.
o Provide document required by operation staff for knowledge transition.
Minimum Requirements
9+ years SAP BW Basis with BIA and Portal experience
7+ years Business Objects Enterprise and BO Explorer experience
5+ Years UNIX experience
Desirable/Preferred Skills:
SAP Solution Manager Experience
SAP on Oracle Database experience
Perl Scripting and automation technology and processes
