Please send resumes to *[email protected]* <[email protected]>** *Title: User Interface Developer* Location: Metro Detroit Duration: 6 months+ * * *PURPOSE OF POSITION:* User-Interface Developer s/he will create use case story boards, UI Prototypes, and even final, production-ready .jsp components, under the direction of the Senior UI/UX-Designer and application Architects. * * *ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:* 1. Strong verbal and written communication skills. 2. Demonstrated experience in designing web-based user interfaces with a focus on usability and efficiency. 3. Deep experience with D/X/HTML, CSS and HTML development tools and JavaScript. 4. Must have knowledge of Object Oriented programming and ability to apply it to JavaScript. 5. Must understand concepts of AJAX and the use of asynchronous requests to create interactive web applications 6. Working knowledge of at least one JavaScript library (jQuery, DoJo, Prototype, YUI, etc.) essential 7. Experience developing web-based applications, not just websites, in a high-paced environment using an iterative development methodology is essential. 8. HTML application prototyping experience a major plus. 9. At least 1 year of Java Development experience ideal 10. HTML5 experience ideal OTHER REQUIREMENTS: 1. Associates or B.A./B.S. in Electronic Media, Graphic Design, Computer Sciences, Management Information Systems or related field. 2. Formal experience with Usability Methodologies a plus 3. Knowledge of tools like Adobe Photoshop, Fireworks, GIMP or other image editing software. 4. Familiarity with Java EE development IDE such as WSAD, RAD or Eclipse 5. Direct, Hands-on experience with at least one of Struts, JSTL and/or Display Tag frameworks. 6. 3-5 years work experience 7.
