* * *Location: Indianapolis, IN* * * *Duration: Long Term* * * *Position Summary:*** The technical team lead must have excellent experience with Java/J2EE technologies and a proven record of success in managing software development teams. This person will manage small or mid-sized Java development team during client engagements. *Responsibilities:** * - Implement solution architecture by building components and custom designs; prototyping; data migration; maintaining technical integrity and consistency; documenting system - Conduct and lead code reviews - Oversee team build and configuration management activities - Work with the client technical and program leadership to assist in guiding platform direction and enhancements - Enhance overall team accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions; answer technical and procedural questions for less-experienced team members; teach improved processes and best practices - Improve information usefulness by tracking emerging technologies; evaluating their applicability to business goals and operational requirements. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations - Increases organization effectiveness by identifying opportunities to leverage solutions to other engagements * Requirements: *** - 3 -5 years managing Java development teams* * - Experience with working on site in a client environment* * - 10 years of true software development experience, in the entire software lifecycle from concept through release - Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with ability to function at both the detail and conceptual levels - Understanding of software development methodologies: RUP design principals, Agile/Scrum, and more traditional waterfall approaches - Demonstrate ability to translate business design models and requirements into architectural and technical design - Hands on experience with Rational tools is required: ClearCase, ReqPro, and ClearQuest - Professional experience with n-tier architecture application development and Java EE design patterns - Knowledge and experience in relational data modeling and Java EE integration - Knowledge and experience in technologies J2EE/Struts - Ability to create and apply software design models in UML - Experience with service-oriented architectures, developing web services and clients for SOAP-based and RESTful architectures - Experience developing in Java EE frameworks: Enterprise Java Beans, Java Messaging Service, Servlets and Java Server Pages and JNDI - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Ability to work independently, but also successfully work on a team and lead a team - BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred -- Thanks & Regards Satya I.T.Recruiter Direct: 954-362-9904 Fax: 954-212-2818 Email: [email protected] www.itssonline.com Yahoo IM: satya_itss I.T.
