Title: Web Tools Developer Location: San Jose, CA Duration: 12+ Months Job Description: Web Tools Developer Responsibilities: Automation Tools Engineer Responsibilities: Primary role will be as a web developer; however, you’ll be expected to wear more than one hat. With guidance from the team’s architect and your customers, you’ll need to meet the support and analytical needs of our internal teams by developing tools that help to improve our user experience and help drive the decision making process. · Develop web applications using Java. · Build UIs using JavaScript, JSON, jQuery, AJAX, HTML and CSS · Develop scripts using Python, PERL, Java, etc. · Work collaboratively with teammates on projects. · Using your development skills, analyze projects to determine how you can help the support the customer. · Help maintain and troubleshoot issues with existing applications. Also important, you’ll need to work in a team-based environment while able to drive results independently, maintaining priorities and awareness of project deadlines. Experience/Skills Required: · Working knowledge of MVC design patterns. · 3+ years of development experience in scripting and web development. · Knowledge of the following languages: Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery. · General knowledge and proficiency in systems administration (*NIX). · SQL experience in a MySQL and MSSQL environment. · Team player with can do attitude. Experience/Skills Desired:· Experience with Cisco Unified Communications and Tandberg technologies. · Experience working in a live 24/7 environment possibly in web-hosting and/or on-line services. · Web Service (SOAP/REST/JSON) development. · Experience with Spring MVC. · Experience with Swing development. · Flash/Flex programming. · Experience with networked storage and virtualized environments. · Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
