Please send resume to *[email protected]* Please share the relevant profiles for the below position ASAP. *SharePoint Admin (L2) Support* *Work Location: Raritan, NJ Duration: 6 Months* *Relevant Experience (Yrs): * 7+ Years *Technical/Functional Skills: * SharePoint Admin *Experience Required: * 7+ Years *Roles & Responsibilities:* Administration of SharePoint 2007/2010 Enterprise environment as a L2 Engineer in Operations team. Mentoring and handling escalations from offshore deployment team on Incident tickets & deployment issues. Documenting third party tools usage & providing guidance to end users on queries related to OOB Web part usage or Site Usage. Documenting Deployment instructions and common infrastructure problems for L1 team’s future reference. Developing tools to support admin activities like Storage alerts on SQL - WFE’s/Validation of sites to adhere to MS best practices/Site Collection Backups/Solutions Store Backup for deployment rollbacks. Developing components & workflows to Support and monitor deployment process. Adding Servers to Farm & Configuring WFE’s and installing third party web parts (Kwizcom Wikiplus/Bamboo etc...) and managing their licenses. Scheduling Item Level backups for Portals using AvePoint. Monitoring server performance by configuring OVIS Alerts and realigning the load balancing scheme based on the server load. Configuring Search and scheduling the content sources to avoid running during business hours or overlap of content source (which may crash search service or impact performance on Site). Coordinating with other internal teams like Database team/Storage team for provisioning new databases/adding drives & adding new databases to the farm based on site count. Working with network team to configure F5 load balancer for redirections/SSL Implementation etc... DNS Team for creation of Secondary-A records for host header based sites. Backup and Recovery team to recover content from site backups/database backups from tapes based on the retention policy. Support and provide guidelines for deployment team to adhere with deployment standards provided by WISE. Working with Engineering team (TED) in upgrading SP environment. Evaluating Load test results for custom portals and scheduling their deployment. Planning on migration activities to new SharePoint 2010 environment.
