Complete Description: DBA 3- Years of Experience: 10 plus years Education: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study * Role Description:* Install new releases of IMS and IMS related software; Manage and administer IMS DBCTL environments; Create and execute the processes to create new DBCTL systems; Maintain IMS applications providing backups, recoveries, and disaster recovery; Monitor space utilization for all IMS databases, Logs, etc; Monitor IMS database fragmentation and perform reorgs when required; Design and redesign IMS databases; Work with all areas of OIT to facilitate successful completion of established goals; Daily core-hour on-site presence and on-call availability during off hours.
