*Duration: 18 months* Looking for candidates who are Senior and have the technical knowledge and understanding on how to create a NEW application in C#/.Net. The system they are re-writing is in Java so the exp base on the current JPMC is in Java so he's looking for candidates for the Contractor role that have been on projects from the ground up in C#/.Net, not just maintaining an existing application. *Description -* As an Application Developer/Analyst, you will provide high quality technology solutions that address business needs by developing applications within mature technology environments for the Investment Bank's Mortgage Securities Trading Business. You will develop trade capture tickets and post processing functionality for various fixed income products. You will utilize mature (3rd or 4th Generation) programming methodologies and languages and adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques while contributing to the technical code documentation. You will also have additional responsibility as application support. You will use your experience and analytical skills to research and resolve complex issues that are identified across various technologies and applications. You will provide technology solutions that address production support needs. *Qualifications –* This is a Graphical User Interface (GUI) developer positions in C#/.net. You have had at least three successful years at a large financial institution doing similar work in fixed income cash or have developed areas of significant technical and/or financial expertise. (It you don’t have finance experience you should at least have worked in a medium size organization like insurance, automobile). You have been exposed to trade capture and have worked on trading GUI projects specially trade capture and post processing. Kudos if you are intimately familiar with the MBS trade capture and post processing. You should also be comfortable operating in multi-functional teams and debating the merits of competing technology and operational choices in a frank and open manner. You have a can-do, go-to-person persona and an open, enthusiastic attitude and positive leadership tendencies. *REQUIRED:* 2+ Years for GUI development using C#/.net framework 3.5/4 4+ Years of ‘C#’ on Windows .NET Framework 3.5/4.0 and MS .NET Visual Studio 2005 or later Environment 5+ Years of Application Development work experience 5+ Years of design, coding, testing and debugging skills 5+ Years experience in a client server environment 4+ Years of experience in Building GUI based application using .NET C# APIs and .NET Libraries 3+ Years of experience in 3-Tire/N-Tire architecture 1+ Year of experience in 29West, MQ Series or Similar Message Communication Architecture Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, debugging in Windows and .NET Visual Studio IDE environment Knowledge of version and revision control practices and procedures Good understanding of Fixed Income Securities Processing Background in systems project life cycle with emphasis on C#, Windows, Sybase, performance tuning or similar knowledge required. Experience with data management, relational, or object-oriented systems Good Communication skills (written and oral) is MUST. *PLUS:* Multithreading in Windows C++ or .NET C++ Perl Window Batch programming Unix Sybase Development.
