Duration : six months Rates: DOE To install Oracle 11gR2 Real Application Cluster on Linux RedHat Enterprise platform in Test (2-node cluster), Dev (2-node cluster), QA (2-node cluster), REL (4-node cluster), PROD (4-node cluster) and DR (4-node cluster). . To be involved with other Oracle Database Administration tasks associated with the project including but not limited to the Shell and PL/SQL scripting Consultant will be involved in the following: . Installation of Oracle 11gR2 RAC on Linux RedHat servers . Migration existing databases from existing RAC servers (Linux SUSE) to new RAC servers (Linux RedHat) . Creation and execution of functional and performance test plans . Design, development and implementation any required Shell and PL/SQL scripts . Configuring Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control to manage and administrate new RAC cluster . Consultant will have good communication skills, great understanding of Oracle 11gR2 RAC design, installation and administration . Consultant will work out of Jersey City, . Consultant will be required to prepare detailed documentation of all tasks performed . Consultant will be required to provide on-call support when necessary Note: Candidate must be experience and have installed Oracle 11g Real Application Cluster on LINUX RedHat Enterprise Platform and have Financial Industry experience. The more experience, the better. Must be able to work Independently and within a team environment This is a consulting position but this person Has to have done full life cycle installation 11i R2.
