Position : VB.net developer
Location : Northridge Los Angeles, CA
Duration : 6 Months
LOCAL TO CALIFORNIA
External and internal web portals designed to promote self-service for
external customers and internal employees. This position requires a
candidate to work as part of a business and development team to create and
modify functionality and software capabilities. The candidate will design
and develop web applications from conceptual design through implementation,
working with an application development team.
***** Must be able to talk with the business users - strong communication
skills. There will be several in-person interviews meeting with the users,
managers, and business groups
*Position Responsibilities:
(7-10 most important)
- Develop, debug and maintain web-based business applications, ensuring
compliance with software development policies and procedures.
- Must have VB.NET or C# exp - Front End Web Development exp.
Working with existing system and coding to that system
- Design, build and populate SQL-based databases for use in reporting and
front-end applications
- Work as part of the Business Information Solutions team on small and large
enterprise wide projects
- Establish relationships with others in the workgroup to ensure that the
business needs are understood, are being met and are planned for
appropriately.
- Present proposed design solutions to team members and management in a
timely, comprehensive, and understandable manner
- Actively participate within the team, passing on knowledge to other team
members relating to tasks performed
