Job Title:OBIEE Developer
Location: Boston,MA
Duration:6+ Months contract with extensions
*Must be Local to MA or Must attend Face to Face interview*
Experience Required:
At least 4 years of specialized experience in the design and implementation
of reporting solutions with Oracle OBIEE technologies, with a high degree of
maturity setting up and maintaining Oracle products on various platforms.
At least 3 years recent experience in implementing web based BI
solutions for internet, extranet and intranet
Experience in database and warehouse design and implementation and
related oracle technologies
Experience in designing and implementing infrastructure to support
development and production of applications using oracle data, OBIEE and
related business intelligence technologies
Experience in ETL technologies including Oracle ODI a plus
Experience in designing and implementing solutions in a highly available
clustered environment.
Experience in related oracle technologies in a Linux environment
Experience designing and developing public facing business intelligence
sites, including portals, dashboards, basic reports (charts, graphs, maps,
drill downs) and advanced reports (ad-hoc reporting).
Experience in web technologies including weblogic web and application
servers
Experience in javascript and java technologies a significant plus
Experience in developing map based reports with OBIEE and Oracle map viewer
a plus
Experience in multi-dimensional databases including Oracle Essbase a plus
Proven effective execution experience in high visibility, high criticality
programs with multiple stakeholders both within and outside of the client
organization
State and or federal government experience helpful, but not mandatory
Skills Required:
Design, implement, and support business intelligence and application
solution using Oracle database, OBIEE and related products
Design and implementation of infrastructure to support applications,
including implementation and management of development, test and production
environments.
Contribution to the infrastructure architecture and application of
technologies within infrastructure
Contribution to the design and implementation of the OBIEE business
intelligence solution.
Excellent problem solver with the ability to keep many driving factors
and requirements in focus
Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Ability to understand and be the go to person for the big picture and
direction as well as maintaining a good grasp in understanding the detailed
requirements and nuances of the solution.
Good mentorship skills and ability to work in a team environment
supporting technical and project aspects of team leadership and growth
Strong communication and documentation skills, ability to communicate
and interact at executive and junior levels
Consistent attention to detail
Overall high degree of professionalism
