Business Analyst Skill set:
Highly skilled technical business analyst
Agile Methodology experience is a plus
At least 5 years experience working in areas such as wireless,
infrastructure integration (network--servers--application),
application (software) and hardware upgrades
Ability to establish rapport and solid working relationships with the
project team, ISG, and business stakeholders
The VTC project will require significant communication skills
(planning and execution) to ensure corporate training opportunities
and adoption
Project Descriptions:
Signet Performance - this will encompass an analysis effort for
application architecture, application design, infrastructure
architecture and configuration in order to create a plan for
increased performance. This will also include the implementation of
the performance strategy and a testing plan to verify that measurable
performance improvements have been achieved.
Datex Upgrade (including enhancements / new functionality) - to
upgrade the existing Datex software application including
configuration and server hardware. This will also require
coordination with impacted staff for communication and training.
Wireless network at Storehouses - to finalize implementation of the
wireless network at the storehouse locations including testing all
connectivity for all devices with the hardware and testing of the
application for proper updates from devices.
VTC (Video Teleconferencing) - this project will provide 1)
stable/reliable VTC service delivery, 2) a consistent user interface
and, 3) upgrade the WVUS boardroom. It will also prepare a roadmap
for the future: ongoing support and maintenance plus a patch
strategy.
