*Position : CISCO UC (Unified Communications) Engineer*
*Location : Stamford, CT ( Phone & In-Person )*
*Duration : 3-6 Months *
*Position Requirement:*
- CCIE is very preferable
- Strong communication skills and understanding of the English language
are very important.
- Specific duties will include:
- Assisting Sales staff with technical presales;
- Meeting with potential clients to discuss project strategy, delivery
methodology and solution development;
- Interacting with clients and project managers providing project
updates;
- On site short and long term client projects involving design;,
configuration and installation of medium and large VoIP networks;
- Follow up documentation and knowledge transfer;
- Preparing detailed UC Network designs, including personnel requirements
and hours estimates;
- Creating Bills of Materials;
- Acting as mentor and chief technical lead for other UC engineers;
- Keep up with current trends and developments in Cisco UC.
*Requirements:*
- CCIE is very preferable
- Experience designing, configuring and installing small to enterprise
sized Cisco UC networks
- Hands on experience designing and configuring Cisco Call Manager, Call
Manager Express, Cisco Contact Center or Unity
- Strong background with Cisco routers, firewalls, switches, voice
gateways and PoE switches
- Strong background in general networking technologies and concepts
- Background in standard voice technologies: tip and ring, PBX, etc.
- You must have strong verbal and written communication skills and work
well in a team environment.
