Greetings from Zuven Technologies Inc Business Intelligence Applications Analyst Direct client requirement 6 Months Contract to Hire (client right to hire) St, Louis, MO Citizen, Green Card, EAD only please. Job Description: This analyst will: * Report to the Manager of Operations Applications and work tasks as assigned by this manager. At this time, the understanding of these tasks is as follows: o Assist in the research of process improvements involved in the tracking of information that is critical to the clients operations management. This includes the evaluation of ways to improve the efficiency of sharing and keeping key personnel information. o Document data maps, warehousing needs, and application requirements associated with identified improvements. o When necessary assist in documentation of scope, costs, and benefits of identified efforts. o Assist in testing and deployment as needed for any realized improvements * Tasks may change after engagement and are at the discretion of the Manager of Operations Systems. This consultant will be based at the Information Technology area. This assignment will require travel to various clients facilities in the Saint Louis Metropolitan area. Consultant must be able to and willing to provide personal transportation to attend meetings and meet with customers when alternative transportation is not available. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: * Interpersonal skills necessary to interact with all levels of technical and business personnel. * Documentation Skills suitable for documentation of requirements and business recommendations. * Experience with reporting and data warehousing initiatives * Experience as an analyst supporting custom software development or reporting. * Experience as an analyst evaluating business processes * Basic skills with SQL and relational databases * Experience working in a team environment * Ability to adapt to changes in priority or assignment. * Experience writing user documentation and helping end users with technology systems. * Experience with Use Case approaches and JAD or similar techniques is a plus. * Ability to work independently, with regular guidance from management. The clients evaluation process will be conducted using the following criteria: Qualifications, Experience, Rate, Availability and all positions will be evaluated to meet the agency*s overall DBE goal. Technical Expertise: Microsoft Office Products, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Visio, SQL, TOAD.
