Your earliest reply is highly appreciated. *Title: coldfusion/developer Job Description: * * * Coldfusion Developer is responsible for development and maintenance of the global corporate website and internal custom web applications supporting various business units. Under general direction, design, document, code, and test new web applications and/or enhancement to existing systems based on identified specifications. Provide technical support for daily activities of the Business for system issues. *Responsibilities/Duties:* * * Responsible for the development of multiple projects to fill needs as defined by the project manager in a timely manner, working specifically in the field of web development (internet, intranet, extranet). Work with senior developers and business analysts to independently develop, document, test and implement systems. Provide support for existing and newly developed systems. *Competencies:* * * · Proven capabilities as ColdFusion Developer. · Experience in working within a framework (Model glue) · Strong database skills (ORCLE, SQL) · Knowledge of best practices for user interface designs · Knowledge of and experience working within various Sofware Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies. · Experience working in other web technologies (IIS, DHTML, XML, AJAX). · Uses solid business knowledge to develop rapid proactive solutions for significant business issues. Clearly understands purposes, objectives, practices, and procedures of the department and business units · Maintains a solid knowledge of corporate and departmental information system strategies · Demonstrates proficiency in systems analysis of business requirements · Knowledge of Client-server concepts, (3 tier architecture concepts preferred). · Experience in implementing multi-regional / multi-language websites preferred. · Experience in working with Interwoven Teamsite preferred. *Academic Qualifications (minimum requirements):* * * Undergraduate degree in related field. Experience may offset academic requirements. Experience in advanced web development, Cold Fusion, DHTML, IIS, XML required. Experience in ASP, Action Script, and Flex a plus.
