Senior ATG/Java Developer
Location: Bothell, WA
Duration: 12months
Rate: Yours best
Responsibilities:
* Design and develop Java/ATG software components in a fast paced
multidisciplinary environment.
* Lead on discrete development projects and should take complete
ownership of technical solution.
* Develop accurate level of effort estimates, and manage task schedules.
* Excellent communication skills that can be used to effectively
communicate technical concepts to business teams.
* Understand consumer customer requirements with respect to its impact
to the success of the business goal and be able to translate them to a
technical implementation.
* Suggest innovative solutions to business problems/processes that
leverage technology to provide marketing differentiation, performance
improvements, and better user experiences.
* Provide direction and mentoring to junior developers.
* Interact well with other technical team leaders such as architects,
testing, analysts, and release managers as a lead member of the development
team in order to accomplish the business goal.
Required Skills:
* 5 years of J2EE and Java programming experience
* 3 years of experience in implementing ATG 2007 based applications
using Commerce, Personalization and Scenario servers.
* Strong understanding of Java programming best practices
* Strong understanding of JSP, AJAX, XML, XSLT and basic UI -
Technologies
* Strong understanding of distributed computing concepts
* Strong object oriented design and design patterns experience
* Strong understanding of SDLC processes and methodologies
* Experienced with relational database SQL
* Strong analytical, problem solving, and production diagnostic skills.
* ATG version 9.1 or 2009
* 2009 or 9.1 or higher exp is must
Additional skills preferred:
* Oracle 10G database working experience
* eCommerce application development experience
* Experience with B2C projects/applications
* Experience w/ Java Application Servers, preferably Web Logic Server
* Strong experience with SOAP and Web Services
* Industry experience in Telecom/Wireless
Education:
* BS degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Engineering or
equivalent technical degree required
