*Location: Trenton, NJ* *Duration: 6+ Months.* *Sr. Data Mart Developer - Data Stage ETL Developer* *Description* Gather requirements, construct, and test and implement complete extract, transform and load (ETL) environment for Crash Migration using New Jersey standards and Data Stage. Execute steps that will enhance ETL functionality. Build, test, implement ETL processes based upon designs, and provide feedback for the enhancement of those designs. Work with the Database Administrator to optimize database indexing strategies for data access. Work with the Data Architect to design dimensional data models as required for dependent data marts. Make recommendations to enhance Data Mart functionality *Mandatory Experience* - Five years experience with ETL development in an enterprise data warehouse environment, including identifying user requirements - Five years experience using IBM Data Stage Server and Enterprise Edition in an Oracle-hosted Data Warehouse - Experienced in using Data Stage Basic (DSBASIC) Language - Experienced in Source to Target mapping between legacy systems and target databases - Three years experience in developing independent data marts - Previous experience as Data Stage ETL Developer for at least one data warehouse project. - Experience in using IBM Data Stage Server and Enterprise Edition version 7.5 and 8.5 in an Oracle-hosted Data Warehouse environment - Experience participating in end user interviews, requirements analysis, and star schema design for proofs of concept using various development strategies for building data marts. - Experience with dimensional data modeling of star schemas using tools such as Oracle designer and ERWin - Experience overseeing design and implementation of logical schemas, key constraints, triggers and indexing strategies - Experience with data marts hosted on Oracle - Experience performing data normalization - Experience in using Oracle 10 and 11 - Experienced in using TOAD - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written *Additional Desired Experience* - Experienced in using File Transfer Protocol (FTP) - Experienced in using UNIX Shell Scripting - Experienced in using Erwin CASE tool - Experienced in using ODBC connections - Experience in using Business Objects XI3.1 Position requires experience working on data integration solutions.
