Job Title : ArcSight Admin Relevant Experience (Yrs) : 3+ years in ArcSight Administration Technical/Functional Skills/Job Responsibilities : Should have prior experience in using a large scale SIEM system like ArcSight and integration of security infrastructure apps and devices to ArcSight. The skills needed for the role include: Strong understanding of the SIEM/SEM World and its concepts and good knowledge of ArcSight event log correlation. Should understand the log collection and event workflow concepts. Need to have good understanding of ArcSight ESM Core Components (Manager, Collector, DB, and Console) and extensive knowledge to navigate the ArcSight ESM Console to effectively Correlate, Investigate and Analyze data. Expertise to customize an ArcSight ESM environment by Creating Active Channels, Filters, Rules, Active Lists and Reports. Should have prior experience in successful implementation of a large scale SIEM system or integration of security architecture for security operations. Good knowledge of ArcSight ESM, logger, connector appliances. Knowledge of Enterprise Security: Intrusion detection and prevention, vulnerability assessment and scanning, penetration testing, internal and external security audits and good Network Security concepts. Specific functions include: Working with onsite and offsite vendor teams Strong verbal communication skills, good written documentation skills, ability to multitask, work well within a team. Preferably the candidate should have ACASA (ArcSight Certified Advanced Security Analyst) or ACSA (ArcSight Certified Security Analyst) certification. CISSP or equivalent certification in IT Security.
