*Duration : 6 to 18 months* * * *Position Description:* For a Lead Performance Test Coordinator (Lead) it would be expected that the strong candidate would have 7 years of solid, full time performance testing experience using HP Performance Center/ Load Runner. A Lead would be experienced in working with or as a developer, plus with project managers, architects, and business analysts to understand the scope and objectives of a conducting complex performance tests including resolution of any ambiguities surrounding the load drivers. The Lead would also have in depth performance testing experience working in technology platforms being used at the bank (Websphere, Weblogic, IIS server, Apache, Tomcat, Unix, Linux, J2EE and Windows, ASP, Dot.net etc), and across the diverse topologies required in orchestrating the most realistic tests possible (F5 Load Balancers, Application server nodes, Oracle/ SQL Server data base servers, MQ managers, JDBC drivers, etc.). Has experienced in performance testing 3rd party vendor products and can script both GUI and standard http scenarios. Understands XML and WSDL protocols and how to work with SOAP headers. Experience with J2EE and .NET diagnostics is highly desired. Web Page breakdown analysis is also a plus. Ability to communicate technical subject matter effectively and clearly to all audiences is highly desired. The Lead will be experienced at managing towards defining test cases that meet realistic production- like sequences to meet the performance test goals. He or she would be able to demonstrate advanced performance testing engineering abilities in conducting application profiling by setting up of meaningful metric collection counters to expose Database I/O inefficiencies and poor memory management techniques (Memory Leaks). Ability to do detailed performance statistical analysis in MS EXCEL is a job requirement. Understanding network topology and running of network diagnostic commands (eg. Netstats, NSLookup, TraceRt) and other UNIX / Windows utilities to extract performance metrics (e.g. VMStat, PS, TOP, or PerfMon, etc.) would be a requirement. Experience using Wily Introscope tool is a plus. Experience writing Unix Shell or PERL scripts a plus. The Lead will have *strong soft skills in communications* and negotiation to be able to resolve issues between multiple entities to result in positive conclusions and keeping the projects on track avoiding scope creep. Experience at financial forecasting a plus. * Required* - 5-7 years of overall performance testing experience with increasing domain of responsibility - At least 5 years experience in performance testing, with this being the primary focus - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent education/work experience - At least 2 years experience in Performance Center / Load Runner - Working knowledge of Sitescope and Introscope monitoring products - Experience and self sufficient in using UNIX/Linux VMSTAT / IOSTAT utilities - Experience in creating test plans, cases, and scripts - Demonstrated experience at leading others to accomplish complex goals and objectives - Excellent oral / written communication with ability to effectively work with onsite and remote teams. - Strong independent worker and an excellent team player. - Demonstrated problem analysis and problem solving skills in a technical environment. - Strong data / metrics extraction, parsing and correlation skills using Load Runner Analysis and Excel - Knowledge of productivity application software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Visio, etc. - Ability to interface with all levels and across organizational lines. - Demonstrated success at building team relationships and partnerships across organizational lines. - UNIX and Windows IIS server technical proficiency or equivalency - Experience in writing SQL queries and executing test scripts - Working knowledge of network protocols being able to communicate effectively with network technicians - Knowledge of financial services industry * *** -- Thanks & Regards Sirisha Suryadevara Manager-sales &recruiting Mutex Systems, Inc 50 Cragwood Road ; Suite 224 ; South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
