Title:Business Process Reengineering Specialist Location:Detroit, MI Job Length:90 days Position ID: 211913 Job Description: This position, working within a project team environment, is responsible for the strategic planning and execution of business process reengineering (BPR). Ideal candidate will have five or more years experience working to affect change in a large organizational environment. An advanced degree is desirable. Job Description: - Develops work process or systems studies, feasibility studies, cost/ benefit analyses and implementation plans, and recommends new technologies and opportunities for automation and reengineering. - Analyzes and documents as-is processes and recommends process efficiencies - Designs functional and/or operational flows that achieve significant business impact - Identifies inconsistencies or discrepancies that are not obvious. - Anticipates potential obstacles and develops contingency plans. - Takes a broad organizational view when solving problems. - Builds and maintains influential relationships with all levels of management (both Technology and business), including Director and C-level interactions - Understands how decisions are made, and influences decisions by effectively communicating the meaning, impact, and parameters of technology opportunities and risks. - Adapts influence strategies to the needs and motives of the group. - Client facing experience, preferably in a consulting role. - Excellent presentation skills - Works effectively both independently and as part of a team, goal oriented, self motivated and deadline driven.
