Job Description:

This position, working within a project team environment, is responsible for
the strategic planning and execution of business process reengineering
(BPR). Ideal candidate will have five or more years experience working to
affect change in a large organizational environment. An advanced degree is
desirable.
Job Description:
- Develops work process or systems studies, feasibility studies, cost/
benefit analyses and implementation plans, and recommends new technologies
and opportunities for automation and reengineering.
- Analyzes and documents as-is processes and recommends process efficiencies
- Designs functional and/or operational flows that achieve significant
business impact
- Identifies inconsistencies or discrepancies that are not obvious.
- Anticipates potential obstacles and develops contingency plans.
- Takes a broad organizational view when solving problems.
- Builds and maintains influential relationships with all levels of
management (both Technology and business), including Director and C-level
interactions
- Understands how decisions are made, and influences decisions by
effectively communicating the meaning, impact, and parameters of technology
opportunities and risks.
- Adapts influence strategies to the needs and motives of the group.
- Client facing experience, preferably in a consulting role.
- Excellent presentation skills
- Works effectively both independently and as part of a team, goal oriented,
self motivated and deadline driven.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years experience in Business Process Reengineering roles,
showing a progressive growth in job roles and responsibilities.
- Knowledge of enterprise-wide, flexible and adaptable architectures.
- Experience in managing client expectations and relationships.
- Certifications or experience in Six Sigma or similar strategy.
- Expertise in MS Office, MS PowerPoint and MS Project
- Public sector experience preferred
- Experience in prioritization of process opportunities through rigorous
business case analysis
- Experience in effectively leveraging information systems, applications and
architecture in support of continuous improvement
- B.S in Information systems or related degree
- Excellent writing and reporting skills in order to transform the
conversations and the current working procedures into a documented business
process
Desired Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of procurement processes
- Knowledge of HR processes
