*Duration : 6 months * *Hourly rate : $45/hr * responsibilities involve working in a medium sized group of application developers spread across several geographical locations on the Mutual Fund and Global Liquidity Web Sites. Work will include all aspects of software development lifecycle concentrated with web development using J2EE platform. She/he must have a deep understanding of client/server architecture with proven experience working in a multi-tier software application. She/he should be well versed in testing techniques to produce comprehensive test cases for all developed code. She/he must also support and participate in system and integrated testing across sub-systems as the need arises. She/he should be capable of producing solid documentation both inside code and external design specifications. Specific Job Functions: Be responsible for developing web applications using J2EE platform and DHTML technologies in collaboration with other members of the team. Interpret Functional Specifications, create Technical specifications and have the ability to deliver quality code to specification. She/he must be comfortable interacting with team members, management and business partners spread across several geographical locations. Specific Technical and Business Skills: Proven experience in Responsible for the design, development, coding, testing, debugging and documentation of applications to satisfy the requirements of one or more user areas. May include hands-on new development as well as support, maintenance or enhancement of existing applications. Works closely with client management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes. Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and makes recommendations.
