Position overview The primary responsibility of this position is application development for the City of Philadelphia. This includes web projects for multiple subsites of the Phila.gov website. The person in this position will work closely with multiple departments and agencies throughout the City of Philadelphia. Work activities * Development and testing of custom ASP.NET master pages * Development and testing of custom ASP.NET web pages * Development and testing of custom ASP.NET user controls * Development and testing of custom SharePoint page layouts * Development and testing of custom SharePoint web parts * Development and testing of custom ASP.NET web services and WCF services * Development and testing of deployment packages for ASP.NET and SharePoint components * Modeling and developing database objects * Work with User Experience designers and web designers in the development of presentation tier components Skills/experience REQUIRED of the assigned staff: * Strong SharePoint web part development experience * Strong ASP.NET development experience * Strong ASP.NET web services or WCF development experience * Strong experience with JQuery, Rad Controls for ASP.NET AJAX, YUI, or other AJAX frameworks * Experience modeling and developing database objects (Preferrably Oracle) * Strong verbal communication skills (oral and writing) Kindly provide the following details for quick process: * 1.
