Provides technical consultation and support in the development of computer applications and programs. Analyzes business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign computer solutions. Develops original and/or complex code or provides coding guidance to less experienced staff. Leads and/or performs modeling, simulations and analysis efforts. Verifies program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs. Participates in overall systems testing. Leads the migration of applications to production. Develops new documentation, participates in the development of department technical procedures and designs user guides. Is an escalation point for application support and troubleshooting, provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application or syste! m problems. Leads projects, including assignment of tasks, and provides direction and guidance to less experienced staff. Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees updating and testing of the business continuation plan. Basic Qualifications 7+ years application development and implementation experience. Minimum Qualifications Qualified candidate must have 7 years experience in application development. - Must have JAVA development experience writing new development codes - Very experienced in Java, Webshere, MQ, JMS, MDB and socket programming . - Experience in batch program development - Very good knowledge of web services - Understanding of performance issues and end to end debugging capabilities. - Knowledge of AIX Server - Experience with DB2 and relational database concepts. - In depth experience in completing programming tasks, which includes analysis and program design, coding, unit testing and creation of test data when necessary - Independent and a quick learner - Strong analytical skills - Passion for delivery of Quality code with a focus on Quality Assurance and End to End design and development. - Good documentation skills *Preferred Skills* - Team player Nice to have skills: - Knowledge of ClearCase - Knowledge of Wells Fargo's policies and procedures - Familiar with J2EE, including JSP and Java script - Knowledge in RAD environment - Familiar with PCI compliance and other financial industry regulations - QA Testing/QA Testing - Client Server Development - Database Development/SQL - Documentation Tools - Design Skills & Tools/Data Modeling - Analysis Skills/Business Analysis Contractor Platform/Skills: Web Development/ASP - Client Server Development/AS/400 - Middleware/Corba - Database Development/Oracle - Database Development/UNIX - Database Development/DB2 / UDB - Design Skills & Tools/Data Modeling - Analysis Skills/Business Analysis - Additional Info from manager 2) Are there any other skills other than those listed in the req?
