Demonstrate subject-matter expertise in Microsoft Office SHAREPOINT Server 
Develop webparts and custom components for SHAREPOINT / MOSS 
Integrate SHAREPOINT with Microsoft Office System 
Working knowledge of integration of SHAREPOINT with Microsoft ActiveDirectory 
Familiar with Data Management and Migration cycles 
Integrate SHAREPOINT with other tools and applications -Develop collaboration, 
workflow, and infoPath forms in SharePoint -Working knowledge of installs, 
configure and deployment of SHAREPOINT 
Deliver presentations on portals and relevant Microsoft technologies 
Develop a web-enabled environment to organize, display and share information 
documents and knowledge.
Manage web-based collaboration sites
Manage portal sites that provide enterprise-level web solutions to internal and 
external organizations 
Research, coordinate, and recommend options for portal site design and 
implementation 
Establish/enforce processes to ensure pages/sites remain current/relevant

issues related to SharePoint Sites and Users. User provisioning and management

Basic Qualifications 
Min 8+ years with Bachelors Degree or equivalent professional work experience
- Eight or more years IT system experience.
- Four or more years SharePoint experience including MS SharePoint Server 
(MOSS) 2007
- Excellent (technical) written and verbal communication skills
- Record of successful management of complex portals.
- Team player with good interpersonal skills
 
Primary Skills:
 
Solid understanding of MOSS 2007 and WSS 3.0 architecture and content 
management concepts.
- 2+ years of relevant hands-on work experience with prior versions of 
SharePoint portal
- 2+ years experience with third party Workflow, Content Management, and 
Business Intelligence tools
- 2+ years documented experience in web design and enterprise portal management
- 2+ years documented experience in a .net environment
- 4+ years experience maintaining web content
- 4+ years experience and knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, Cascading Style 
Sheets, CSS, and working knowledge of ASP
- 2+ years experience w/ SQL Server and Oracle family products
- 2+ years experience w/ Visual Studio (Express)

Qualified candidate will have 
4+ years experience managing Microsoft SharePoint and/or other web portal 
content.
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint Designer or other content management 
applications.
Must have experience with MS SharePoint MOSS 2007 Standard and Enterprise 
solutions.
Prefer expertise in document management, designing task trackers, event 
calendars, etc.
Prior experience must demonstrate proven skills with information systems.

Candidate must be able to articulate problems and resolution, in both verbal 
and written forms.
Proven experience must indicate a record of information security awareness and 
discipline in systems administration.
 
Secondary Skills:
Masters with min 7 years IT systems experience or Bachelors with min 9 years IT

Job Description:
POSITION PURPOSE: Responsible for the definition, planning, design, 
development, improvement, installation, integration and/or maintenance of a 
large programming system, a complex programming application or new programming 
languages, operational 
systems advanced techniques, etc. Also may be responsible for modifying 
existing routines or purchased software. Usually, totally responsible for a 
complex programming project. Provides technical advice to management and 
frequently participates as 
technical advisor and consultant in management decisions.
 
Accountable for complying with all laws and regulations associated with duties

Activities of Direct Reports:
 
This position has no direct reports.
 
• A staff position with major responsibility for programming guideline

EXPERIENCE:
• 8 years of professional experience in programming/analysis and/or directly 
related areas.

• Has made extensive use of improved programming/analysis technology.
 
EDUCATION:
• Requires a knowledge of advanced technology, business applications, the

languages, etc.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
