*JOB TITLE: PeopleSoft Developer* *LOCATION: McKinney Texas* *START DATE: April 25 or earlier* *DURATION: 6months with possible extension* JOB DESCRIPTION/MINIUM REQUIREMENTS: Collin County is seeking one skilled PeopleSoft Developer who meets the qualifications identified below for a short term project to assist with development of modifications, enhancements, advanced reporting functions. Candidate will be expected to write new applications as well as troubleshoot and support existing code. Collin County is seeking an Oracle PeopleSoft developer for Human Resources and Payroll modules. The county has need for a contact developer with aexcellent knowledge of the PeopleSoft HRMS/HCM and Payroll modules as part of a county IT team. The work will include assisting with development of modifications, enhancements, advanced reporting functions and also other tasks, as needed, to assist with the application. The candidate must have good analytical skills combined with solid communications skills, proven abilities to communicate with business users and require little to no supervision. The candidate will be expected to write new applications as well as troubleshoot and support existing code. This is a regular full-time contract position. Required Skills: The successful candidate will have expertise in programming utilizing PeopleTools, PeopleCode, SQR, reporting tools (Crystal Reports and SQL Server Reporting Services) as well as applying PeopleSoft updates and fixes. The ideal candidate will have experience with PeopleSoft 8.9, PeopleTools 8.49, and experience developing complex SQL queries against the PeopleSoft application tables. In addition the candidate should have expertise with the following PeopleSoft Modules: · Human Resources · Time and Labor · Payroll · Recruitment · Position Management and · Performance Management The contract position requires a minimum 5 years of general software development experience with at least 3 years experience with PeopleTools & PeopleCode. Experience with PeopleSoft 8.8 or 8.9 is highly desired. Experience with PeopleSoft component interfaces is required. Knowledge of and experience with applying software testing processes and procedures, source code management and software release procedures is required.
