Our Client wants to hire a Full time Perm Sr. IT Mgr Production Support of Business Applications .ONLY, THIS POSITION IS NOT FOR DESKTOP/NETWORK or SERVER ADMIN. Responsibility: The Senior IT Manager should be Responsible for Managing Business Applications. The IT Department has major applications that are Unix and Windows Based. Some Applications are Web Based and some are Legacy Applications. Job Duties include, Handling Production Support issues, Resolving them in a timely fashion, provide Application maintenance support, Versioning and Release management. Should also be responsible for proactive team and resource allocation and coordination, and hands-on project guidance to ensure completion of assigned projects on schedule and within budget.. Additional responsibilities include identifying establishing production problem management processess, identifying causes for production problems, taking steps to reduce the problem count and ongoing application enhancemnet and process enhancement. Report to Senior Management on all Production management aspects. Assist mangement in staffing, detailed planning and budgeting periodic project status reporting, and other management related issues. An ideal candidate would be someone currently handling both technical and managerial responsibilities.
