Job Title: Network Engg/F5 Network's LTM & GTM/remote Work Location: Remote Work Duration: 12 months+ Phone Hire Description: Must Haves: 1. 3-5 years of experience (2 years maybe ok) working with F5 Network's LTM & GTM ( Local Traffic Manager and Global Traffic Manager; these are the BIG-IP Product modules) load balancing technologies 2. Experience with Version 10.2 (current version) or 9 of the LTM and GTM software BIG-IP Product Modules . Local Traffic Manager (LTM): Local load balancing based on a full-proxy architecture. . Global Traffic Manager (GTM): Global Server Load Balancing using DNS. 3. Manage and administers large and complex projects. 4. Troubleshoots network and medium complexity application issues. 5. Understands core network technologies and IP network routing. 6. Understands application protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, FTP. LDAP etc). 7. Has working experience with SSL termination and certificate management. 8. Applies content rules and redirection services. 9. Understands DNS (Domain Name System) resolution process and caching thoroughly. 10. Has solid analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, is detail-oriented, and always acts professionally. 11. Understands teamwork, and is able to work with customers, delivery teams, managers, and teammates, even when under pressure. 12. Can administer large and complex projects or issues, and completes them within an assigned timeframe. 13. Performs incident management and triage, and is able to concisely report all pertinent details about the incident to team leads and managers quickly. Also able to participate in post-problem reviews (PPRs) and lessons learned sessions. 14. Understands and supports the Quality Management System (QMS). 15. Experience writing i-rules Scripting Pluses: 1. If they've worked on 9 and 10 that's a plus. If they've worked on version 4,9, and 10 is big plus. 2.
