Job Overview: Wipro Retail is looking for an experienced Oracle Retail
(formerly Retek) Senior Technical Consultant specializing in integration of
the Oracle Retail application suite to other applications. The position
requires extensive technical understanding of the Oracle Retail suite as
well as retail industry knowledge. This position requires extensive travel
to and from client locations throughout the United States. Though the job
is primarily management and solution development around integration, the
ideal candidate should have experience in legacy system interfaces, batch
scheduling, data architecture, data migration and development. Applicants
should be able to produce project plans, work breakdown structures and
manage 10- 15 technical team members.
Requirements: • 6 plus years Oracle Retail Merchandising Suite (ORMS)
version 12 or higher
• Application experience should include one or more of the following:
o Oracle Retail Merchandising System (ORMS)
o Oracle Retail Price Management (ORPM)
o Oracle Retail Sales Audit (OReSA)
o Oracle Retail Invoice Match (OReIM)
o Oracle Retail Allocation (ORA)
o Oracle Retail Demand Forecasting
o Oracle Retail Integration Bus
• Experience in full life cycle implementation of packaged software
• Involvement in multiple large scale Oracle Retail Implementation
• Programming Languages:
o Oracle PL/SQL
o Oracle PRO*C
o Java
o Shell scripting
o C/C++
• Software:
o Oracle Designer
o Oracle Forms
• Databases: Oracle
o 9i/ 10G/11 on UNIX and/or Windows
• Integration Tools:
o SeeBeyond eGate
o Java Messaging Server
• Available to travel 100%, primarily in the United States but
international travel may be required
• Ability to manage 10-20 resources
Preferred Skills: • Previous consulting experience (Big Four
preferred)
• Experience working with onshore/offshore development modules
• Good technical writing skills
• Experience working in diverse, multicultural environments
Education: • Bachelor’s Degree
• Master’s Degree preferred
